Bookings

If you have found us directly on this web-site and you want to BOOK, please make your bookings directly with us, and NOT through: SAFARI-NOW, or ROOMS FOR AFRICA, or BOOKING.COM. We want to keep our rates at a reasonable level which is difficult due to the high commission fees these sites are charging the guesthouses.

Cancellation policy

Failure of the customer to arrive, or cancellations made 0 to 14 days prior to the agreed arrival date forfeit 100% of the deposit. Cancellations made 15 to 28 days prior to the agreed arrival date forfeit 75% of the deposit or 25% of the booking quote value, whichever the greater. Cancellations made 29 days or more prior to the agreed arrival date forfeit 50% of the deposit or 25% of the booking total, whichever is the greater. Cancellations would only be valid if confirmed in writing by both parties.  Please include your banking details on instruction to cancel a reservation.  On receipt of a written instruction to cancel the reservation, we will refund the applicable amount as determined by the cancellation terms, within 5 working days. Should refunds to a SWIFT bank account be required, an additional R185 charge will be levied.

Children

All children are more than welcome at the Elephant Coast Guesthouse. Toddlers two (2) years & younger, sharing with parents stay free of charge including breakfast, please note specific rooms only. Children 12 years & younger, sharing with parents at R220 per child including breakfast, please note specific rooms only. Children occupying their own room will be charged as adults. A family room or unit are available Please contact us for special rates based on occupancy of the rooms. Sorry - We do not have Babysitters.
